<p style="text-align: justify;">IER oferă studenţilor din ultimul an, masteranzilor şi doctoranzilor de la universităţile din ţară, precum şi absolvenţilor din anul 2009 posibilitatea de a efectua stagii de practică în cadrul <strong>Direcţiei Coordonare Traduceri</strong>.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Noua sesiune de stagii de practică se va desfăşura între <strong>24 iunie şi 30 septembrie</strong> 2009. <span id="more-61"></span><br />
<strong>Durata</strong> unui stagiu de practică este de <strong>240 ore</strong>, iar perioada fiecărui stagiu de practică se stabileşte de comun acord cu stagiarul.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Termenul </strong>de depunere a dosarelor sau ultima dată a poştei este <strong>27 mai 2009</strong>.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Stagiile de practică nu sunt retribuite.<br />
Pe parcursul stagiului, stagiarii vor avea posibilitatea de a participa la anumite conferinţe, mese rotunde sau cursuri de formare organizate de IER în colaborare cu partenerii săi.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Procesul de selecţie</strong> cuprinde două etape eliminatorii: selecţia pe bază de dosar şi interviul.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Dosarul de candidatură</strong> se depune personal la sediul IER, biroul 509, între orele 10:00-15:00 sau se trimite prin poştă cu confirmare de primire.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Pentru <strong>Serviciul Consultanţă în jurisprudenţa CJCE şi a TPI</strong></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">• student în ultimul an de facultate, masterand sau doctorand al unei facultăţi de drept (sunt acceptaţi şi candidaţii care au finalizat sau finalizează studiile universitare sau postuniversitare în 2009)</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">• cunoaştere temeinică a limbii române;<br />
• bune cunoştinţe de operare pe calculator (Microsoft Office);<br />
• conştiinciozitate, punctualitate şi capacitatea de a respecta termenele şi standardele impuse;<br />
• adaptabilitate;<br />
• dorinţă de perfecţionare;<br />
• capacitate de analiză şi sinteză.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Selecţia stagiarilor </strong></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Etapa I: selecţia pe bază de dosar</strong></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Candidaţii trebuie să depună un dosar de candidatură care să cuprindă:</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Documente obligatorii:<br />
• <a href="http://www.ier.ro/documente/stagii_practica_2009/Formular_candidatura_DCT.doc" target="_blank"><strong>formularul de candidatură</strong></a>, completat, datat şi semnat corespunzător<br />
• <a href="http://europass.cedefop.europa.eu/img/dynamic/c1344/type.FileContent.file/CVTemplate_ro_RO.doc" target="_blank"><strong>CV în format european în limba română</strong></a><br />
• copia actului de identitate<br />
• copia adeverinţei de student/masterand/doctorand/absolvent 2009<br />
• copia diplomei de licenţă (în cazul masteranzilor/doctoranzilor/absolvenţilor din 2009)<br />
• copii după certificatele care dovedesc nivelul de cunoaştere a limbilor străine, dacă este cazul (limbile engleză şi/sau franceză)<br />
• copie după scrisoarea de recomandare din partea unui profesor</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Constituie un avantaj includerea în dosarul de candidatură a altor documente care atestă cunoştinţe/abilităţi menţionate la Profilul stagiarului, de exemplu copii ale certificatelor care dovedesc cunoştinţele de operare pe calculator sau cunoaşterea altor limbi oficiale ale Uniunii Europene (italiană, spaniolă, portugheză, germană).</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Dosarele nu vor conţine documente originale, ci numai copii care se vor certifica pentru conformitatea cu originalul la momentul interviului.<br />
<strong>Dosarele de candidatură care nu conţin toate documentele obligatorii vor fi respinse.</strong></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Etapa II: interviul</strong></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Candidaţii selectaţi în urma analizei dosarelor vor fi anunţaţi prin email cu privire la data şi ora la care va avea loc interviul.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">În urma interviului toţi candidaţii vor fi anunţaţi referitor la rezultatul acestuia, telefonic sau prin email.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong><em>Note:</em></strong></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Dosarele de candidatură nu vor fi returnate candidaţilor în niciun stadiu al procesului de selecţie.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Fiecare din persoanele selectate în urma interviului trebuie să prezinte cazierul judiciar, înainte de încheierea acordului scris cu IER.</p>

<p><strong>Objective</strong></p>
<p>The UNDP Romania Country Office offers selected outstanding university students the opportunity to acquire experience working as interns in the United Nations system. The internship provides a compact understanding of UNDP&#8217; s development policies, thematic priorities, and technical cooperation activities. Interns specialize in the areas of democratic governance, sustainable environmental policies, poverty reduction, and other activities related to sustainable human development. In so doing they acquire practical experience in various aspects of project management in an international work environment.</p>
<p><strong>What to expect/ Nature of  work</strong></p>
<p>Under the supervision of the designated  office staff (normally, Head of Section receiving the intern), the intern will:</p>
<ul type="disc">
<li>Assist in the organization of       conferences, forums or other collaborative events;</li>
<li>Assist in developing of       products/services</li>
<li>Draft letters,       minutes, memos and other Section operations’ related documents;</li>
<li>File documents;</li>
<li>Collect       information related to the Section’s portfolio;</li>
<li>Translate       important documents between English and Romanian, upon request;</li>
<li>Arrange       appointments, receive visitors, and screen telephone calls;</li>
<li>Deal with       written correspondence upon request;</li>
<li>Perform other       duties related and in support to the Section’s operations.</li>
</ul>
<p>The internship is not intended to lead to further employment within the UN system, but to complement the intern&#8217;s studies. Therefore, there should be no expectation of employment at the end of an internship.<br />
Assignments may vary in length, according to the availability and academic requirements as well as the needs of the UNDP office in Romania. Normally they should last no less than 4 weeks and no more than six months.<br />
<strong>Eligibility</strong></p>
<p>Interns are selected  on a competitive basis. The following minimum qualifications are required:</p>
<ul type="disc">
<li>Enrollment in a graduate-level degree programme in a development related field such as economics, public or business administration, or environmental studies.</li>
<li>Demonstrated interest in the       field of development</li>
<li>Language skills: written and spoken proficiency in at least one, and preferably two of the three working languages used by UNDP: English, French and Spanish.</li>
<li>An interest in global mobility; adaptability to varied physical and other environments; a desire to work with and gain the confidence and respect of people with different language, national and cultural backgrounds.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Financial Aspects</strong></p>
<p>The internship programme operates on a non-salaried basis. The subsistence and travel costs connected with the internship programme must be borne by interns or by other institutions. Interns are responsible for arranging their own travel to Bucharest, health and medical insurance and accommodation.</p>
<p><strong>Status of an Intern</strong></p>
<p>They are not staff members  and may not represent UNDP in any official capacity.</p>
<p><strong>Medical Coverage</strong><br />
UNDP accepts no responsibility for costs or hardships arising from illness or accidents incurred during the internship. Interns must therefore carry adequate and regular medical and life insurance. Proof of medical coverage/visa must be provided before the internship commences.</p>

<p>Ambasada Marii Britanii din Bucuresti lanseaza un nou program de stagii de practica adresat studentilor inscrisi la studii universitare sau postuniversitare in domeniul economic. <span id="more-53"></span>Stagiul se va derula in cadrul Sectiei Politice a Ambasadei Britanice de la Bucuresti, Departamentul Economic, pe durata a 8 saptamani.</p>
<p>Obiectivele stagiului de practica:<br />
* Sa ofere studentilor inscrisi la studii universitare sau postuniversitare in domeniul economic posibilitatea de a lucra intr-un  departament in care sa-si poata imbogati experienta educationala printr-o activitate practica;<br />
* Sa familiarizeze stagiarii cu activitatea Ambasadei Marii Britanii;<br />
* Sa furnizeze Ambasadei Marii Britanii asistenta unor studenti de inalta calificare, specializati in domeniul economic.</p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><strong>The TI Secretariat in Berlin</strong> is seeking a highly motivated, pro-active intern to support its work to support its work in the Africa and the Middle East Department (Advocacy and Legal Advice Centres team).</p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><strong>Transparency International (TI)</strong> is the leading global non-governmental and not-for-profit organisation devoted to combating corruption. Its mission is to create change towards a world free of corruption. TI currently has more than 90 National Chapters across the world, and its International Secretariat is based in Berlin, Germany.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">TI does not investigate or expose individual cases of corruption but advocates for reform by focusing on systemic improvement and by building coalitions with other anti-corruption stakeholders, including governments, the private sector and civil society organisations.</p>
<p class="MsoTitle"><strong>Description of Internship</strong></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><strong>Main function:</strong> Assisting the Africa and Middle East team in their work</p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><strong><em>Key responsibilities</em></strong><strong>:</strong></p>
<ul class="disc">
<li>Assisting with implementation of a number of projects, including regional programmes on Advocacy and Legal Advice Centres (ALAC) in the Africa/Middle East region and follow up activities on programs in relation to the Anti Corruption Convention of the African Union</li>
<li>Conducting some research activities and internal presentations on program activities and issues (topic to be agreed on with supervisor);</li>
<li>Liaising and maintaining contact with national contact groups and chapters on programme related and organizational issues;</li>
<li>Assisting with preparation of TI presentations to external audiences;</li>
<li>Other administrative tasks and support to the Africa and Middle East Department;</li>
</ul>
<p class="MsoNormal"><strong><em>Knowledge, experience and skills</em></strong><strong>:</strong></p>
<ul class="disc">
<li>Strong academic background in law / political science / international relations (other relevant fields will be considered)</li>
<li>Adaptable and flexible personality, able to handle multiple tasks and workloads;</li>
<li>Demonstrated interpersonal skills and effective communication abilities;</li>
<li>Excellent knowledge of English or French (written and spoken) <em>and</em> at least very good knowledge of the other language;</li>
<li>Good knowledge of MS Office applications including proven experience of working with Excel (required);</li>
<li>Some knowledge of, and considerable interest in, the work of TI and the field of anti-corruption (required);</li>
<li>Knowledge of, or proven interest in, the Africa and Middle East region (required);</li>
<li>Some prior office experience very desirable;</li>

<p>The Commercial Service of the U.S. Embassy in Bucharest provides   students who are exploring a career in international business,   marketing, diplomacy, or foreign affairs the opportunity to work   in the area of international trade together with our team. This   is strictly a volunteer internship; interns will receive no   monetary reimbursement for their work at CS Bucharest. Work   schedules will be negotiated. Business dress is required.</p>
<h2 id="_section2" class="toc">Application Process</h2>
<p>The application process is made up of a number of steps: filling   out an application form, participating in an interview and   English language test, submitting a resume, cover letter and a   letter of recommendation, filling out a security questionnaire,   and finally taking part in a security interview. A background   security check will be conducted, and only upon receiving the   mandatory security clearance (usually about 2 weeks after the   security interview), can an applicant start the internship at CS   Bucarest. We accept applications on a rollover basis, with the   exception of <strong>summer</strong> and <strong>winter</strong> periods, for which   the deadlines are <strong>January 31</strong>, and <strong>August 31</strong> respectively.</p>
<p>Students majoring in international business, marketing, diplomacy   and foreign affairs will be given preference.</p>

<li>sa ofere studentilor inscrisi la studii universitare sau postuniversitare in diverse domenii posibilitatea de a lucra intr-un departament in care sa-si poata imbogati experienta educationala printr-o activitate practica</li>
<li>sa familiarizeze internii cu activitatea  Natiunilor Unite</li>
<li>sa furnizeze birourilor ONU asistenta  unor studenti de inalta calificare, specializati in diverse domenii  profesionale.<span id="more-13"></span></li>
</ol>
<p>Acest program de practica este valabil numai pentru Centrul de Informare al Natiunilor Unite din Bucuresti. Alte birouri, fonduri si programe ONU, precum Programul Natiunilor Unite pentru Dezvoltare (PNUD), Inaltul Comisariat al ONU pentru Refugiati (UNHCR), Fondul Natiunilor Unite pentru Copii (UNICEF), Fondul Natiunilor Unite pentru Populatie (UNFPA), Biroul International al Muncii, etc. au programe separate. Studentii interesati sa colaboreze cu aceste organizatii sunt rugati sa contacteze direct aceste institutii.</p>
